How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want each homeowner who reaches out to Residentsalthough Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

Topics We Want to Hear About

You can write to us about:

  • How your call or contact with Residentsalthough Plumbing went
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a plumber we connected you with

When the Issue Is With a Provider

Plumbers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the plumber directly. Keep a written record as you go.

Please tell us as well. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest. A provider who keeps falling short of what we expect may be removed from the network. Keep in mind that Residentsalthough Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Us Your Complaint

Email contact@residentsalthough.garden and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We then look into what happened, which may include getting in touch with the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Still Feel Unheard

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You can also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about plumbing work itself, your state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help.
